IESE charges €117,000 in tuition for its two-year MBA, the September 2027 intake (Class of 2029), paid as a €10,000 commitment fee, €48,500 for the first year and €58,500 for the second. The school publishes no living budget, only a remark that Barcelona costs less than other large European cities, and no graduate salary on its open pages: the full employment report sits behind a lead form. This page therefore cannot show a total cost for a person earning $90,000 or a payback date, and our main ranking leaves IESE out. What it does publish is a regional split that stands out: 41% of graduates of the class of 2025 work in Europe and 27% in Latin America, then Asia and the Middle East. Consulting is the dominant sector, at 41% of the class, and 80% of graduates were employed within three months.
A European school with a Latin American alumni base
27% of IESE's class of 2025 went to work in Latin America, which puts the school first of 9 in our ranking for working there. Europe takes 41%, the Middle East 11%, enough for number 2 of 7 in our Middle East ranking, and Asia 15%. North America and Africa are small. For a student from Mexico, Colombia or Brazil who wants to go home with a European degree, this is the pattern to look for; for someone set on New York, it is not.
Consulting dominates both ways of reading the report: 41% of graduates joined consulting firms, and 48% took consulting roles, including inside companies. Finance follows at 16%, technology at 9%. The named employers include Accenture, Almirall, Amazon, Bain & Company, Boston Consulting Group and Fever, a list led by strategy firms and technology companies.

The second year costs more than the first
Tuition rises from €48,500 in the first year to €58,500 in the second, a jump of €10,000. The total also moves between intakes, and the class entering in September 2026 paid less than the next one, so the figure here applies only to the intake named. Scholarships typically cover between a tenth and half of tuition, with excellence awards for the top admitted candidates and several awards for women, but the school does not publish an average or the share of the class aided.
Without a living budget from the school, the calculator leaves that field for you to fill: type your monthly rent and costs in Barcelona multiplied over the two years, then the salary you expect after the degree. At the reference salary of $90,000, the 21 months without pay come to $157,500, more than the $130,900 of tuition.

Against IE, the other Spanish school
IE in Madrid charges €89,900 for an 11-month program, and also publishes neither salary nor living budget. The IESE and IE comparison sets the two reports side by side: IESE sends more graduates into consulting and publishes a regional split; IE has the shorter format and no regional data.
